About

Hello there!

As a designer, I am passionate about telling stories through an engaging and playful lens.

As an artist & maker, I am drawn to simple motifs, vibrant colors, and general whimsy.

My goal is to contribute to community spaces that provide access to quality education while inspiring imagination, creativity, and kindness.

I currently live in beautiful Pittsburgh, PA. I graduated from Carnegie Mellon School of Design in May 2021 with a Bachelor of Communication Design and a minor in Design for Learning.

During college I worked in the Children’s School, CMU’s laboratory school, providing preschool and kindergarten education to the Pittsburgh community. I collaborated with teachers to create play-centered learning curriculum aimed at harnessing the students’ imaginations. I believe educational experiences encouraging interactive engagement are powerful. As a designer, I see this work as a bridge between art, function, and service. I understand the value of quality education in a child’s success and happiness. My goal is to expand this vision to create essential learning spaces that are accessible to all communities across diverse platforms.

Since graduating, I have worked as a Product Designer at Dick’s Sporting Goods Technology. I am the primary designer on a balanced team supporting and delivering external customer communications. I also serve as branding/marketing designer for Dick’s Women in Technology Committee. Any chance I get, I participate in community events hosted by Dick’s Sporting Goods (DSG). This year I had an amazing time designing and leading a STEAM summer program in McKeesport, PA for area middle school students. We focused on problem-solving skills through interactive learning modules. Additionally, we hosted an introduction to STEAM event at the DSG on-campus daycare facility for toddlers and preschoolers.

In my free time, I squeeze in as much of my art practice as I can. I love to paint, draw, and explore different illustration methods. I am constantly teaching myself new mediums and techniques. Some of my favorites are book arts/bookbinding, block printing and various textile arts, especially weaving. In addition to my art practice, I am an avid reader and ballet dancer.
